Senior Associate/Special Counsel – Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) – Perth

Role Overview

We are seeking a remarkable Senior Associate/Special Counsel to join our high performing Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) Perth team. The role provides the successful candidate with the chance to join a tier‑one ranked Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety practice, collaborate and contribute to a successful and impactful team, and work on large, complex matters for major clients.

Responsibilities
Work closely with partner Anna Casellas and the WRES team.
Represent a strong client base in high‑profile and high‑quality matters across the public and private sectors.
Advise on all aspects of workplace relations including industrial relations, employment, work health and safety, anti‑discrimination and diversity.
Handle compliance and regulatory matters, strategic and industrial advice, and litigation across all Courts and Tribunals.

Qualifications and Experience
Experience in a similar Senior Associate/Special Counsel position.
Strong academic ability and drafting skills.




Ability to provide timely, accurate and commercially astute advice.
Strong sense of purpose, ambition and a proactive approach.
Drive for business development, with a focus on winning current work and practice growth.
Demonstrated capability to work autonomously, as well as in a team.
High degree of initiative, dedication and organisational ability with a strong client and commercial focus.

The team advises on all aspects of workplace relations, from compliance and regulatory matters to strategic and industrial advice and litigation across all Courts and Tribunals.
