We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher aide to join our Junior Campus team.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part time capacity (0.79FTE), 60 hours per fortnight (negotiable).

Applicants with experience in working with indigenous youth are encouraged to apply.

Who We Are

Spinifex State College Junior Campus is a Mount Isa Secondary School for students in grade 7, 8 and 9. We have a student population of approximately 500 students from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures.

Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.




Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.
Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
