Are you an experienced Foster Care Case Manager looking for your next locum opportunity? We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join a supportive Home Based Care team in Scoresby on an initial locum contract, with the potential to continue for up to 6 months.
About the Role
As a Foster Care Case Manager, you will support children and young people who are unable to live safely with their biological families by working closely with foster carers and key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
Managing a caseload of children and young people in foster care.
Providing ongoing support, guidance, and supervision to foster carers.
Developing and reviewing case plans to meet the needs of children and young people.
Liaising with Child Protection and other key stakeholders.
Completing case notes, reports, and other documentation in line with legislative requirements.
Participating in care team meetings and advocating for the best interests of children and young people.
About You
Demonstrated experience working as a Foster Care Case Manager or within Home Based Care.
A strong understanding of the out‑of‑home care sector and relevant legislation.
Excellent case management, assessment, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or a related discipline.
A current Victorian Driver Licence, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
