The role

As one of our casual Early Childhood Teachers, you'll play a key leadership role in designing and delivering a high-quality, child-centred curriculum that reflects our service philosophy and the National Quality Framework.
You'll mentor and support Educators, foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, and help shape a learning environment where every child feels safe, respected, empowered, and inspired to thrive.

Duties
Lead the delivery of a high-quality, child-centred educational program aligned with the National Quality Framework and Approved Learning Frameworks.
Champion child safety, wellbeing, inclusion, and diversity, ensuring every child feels safe, respected, and supported.
Mentor, guide, and inspire educators to deliver engaging learning experiences and maintain high-quality educational documentation.
Observe, assess, and plan meaningful learning opportunities that support each child's growth, development, and individual needs.
Build solid, respectful partnerships with children, families, and colleagues to create positive learning outcomes.
Provide professional leadership across the service, including stepping into the Centre Director role when required.
Qualifications
Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved/recognised qualification)
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Significant Harm
Current approved Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
Current CPR certificate
Completed National Mandatory Training
Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in providing quality learning experience and environments for young children
Demonstrated knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations and high-level knowledge of current child protection legislation
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing the National Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place, National Quality Standard and Child Protected Standards.
Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children's learning.
Ability to relate effectively to children and their families and to be attuned and responsive.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Developed communication and inter-personal skills.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $******* per hour (Grade G, Step1) + 12% super.
Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
