We are now looking for a Production Site Supervisor to head up our busy Wattleup facility.
This is a full time position based where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our southern suburbs modular yard.
As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring quality output, maintaining safety standards, managing teams, and driving operational efficiency across our manufacturing processes.
This position is integral to our ability to deliver high-quality modular homes and represents a key leadership role within our construction operations.
About the role
Oversee and supervise daily yard and production operations, working across various stages of modular homes
Manage subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure all work is completed to specification, on schedule and within budget parameters
Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards across the production yard, conducting regular inspections and audits
Manage day-to-day workforce planning,
allocation and performance monitoring
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and resources
Train, mentor and develop the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks to improve productivity
Maintain accurate documentation of production schedules, quality control records and incident reports
Communicate progress and concerns to senior management and key stakeholders
Implement and reinforce company policies, procedures and compliance requirements
About you
Experience as a residential Site Supervisor - experience with volume builder
Experience with lightweight construction (steel or timber framing, panelised systems, lightweight cladding) highly regarded
Experience in modular, prefabricated or transportable construction an advantage
Strong understanding of construction quality and WHS requirements
Thorough understanding of the NCC
Ability to read and interpret working drawings, addendas and specifications
A practical, hands-on leader who keeps the team productive
Proactive, reliable and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise across all levels of the organisation
Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
Construction White Card essential, forklift ticket highly regarded
Current WA driver's licence
