We're partnering with one of Australia's leading engineering technology consultancies to find an experienced Technical Sales Specialist with a strong Mechanical Engineering background.
This is a consultative sales role focused on helping manufacturers improve product design, engineering workflows and simulation capabilities through advanced engineering software and services.
Rather than simply selling licences, you'll work closely with engineering leaders to understand technical challenges, uncover opportunities for improvement and position solutions that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
The role combines existing account growth with proactive new business development, giving you the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships while developing your own territory.




Responsibilities
Grow existing customer relationships
Develop new manufacturing customers
Conduct discovery meetings
Understand engineering and manufacturing challenges
Work with technical pre-sales consultants
Manage your own territory and pipeline
Lead opportunities from discovery through to close
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
Strong technical sales experience
Mechanical Engineering degree or technical engineering background
Experience selling engineering or manufacturing technology
Ability to communicate confidently with engineers
Experience growing existing customers and winning recent business
Independent and proactive approach
Experience selling CAD, CAE, Simulation, Engineering Software or Manufacturing Software will be highly regarded.
