The Digital Product Manager (Product Owner) is responsible for driving the performance, optimisation, and strategic evolution of customer and partner facing digital platforms across bothB2C (InsureandGo, Tick Insurance)andB2B partnerships.
This role drives the digital product lifecycle - from initiative prioritisation to delivery and performance tracking, ensuring platforms deliverseamless, high-converting customer experiences that support commercial growth, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, compliance and partner requirements.
Acting as the critical bridge betweenB2C and B2B business teams (commercial and marketing), product, technology, and operations, the role combines strongproduct ownership discipline, analytics capability, and UX/UI focus.
It also plays a key role inreporting and performance optimisation, enabling insights to drive data‐led decision making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Ownership & Delivery
Own and manage theend-to-end product backlogfor B2C (websites and call centre platforms) and B2B partner platforms.
Define and prioritise features, enhancements, and defects based oncustomer value, commercial impact, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility.
Translate business requirements intoclear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks.
Lead Agile ceremonies includingsprint planning, backlog grooming, stand‐ups, and retrospectives.
Interact with key B2B partnersto align product priorities and update on key initiatives and performance
Partner with offshore and onshore development teams to ensureefficient delivery and alignment to roadmap priorities.
Platform Performance, Analytics & Reporting
Own platform performance measurement across key KPIs includingconversion, funnel progression, customer drop‐off, engagement,



and site speed.
Develop and maintainreporting frameworks and dashboardsin partnership with data teams
Analyse performance trends and identify opportunities tooptimise conversion and improve customer journeys.
Provideregular reporting and actionable insightsto stakeholders, linking performance to commercial outcomes.
Supportforecasting and scenario modellingto inform product and commercial decisions.
Customer Experience & UX/UI Optimisation
Champion acustomer‐first mindset, ensuring all product decisions are grounded in customer needs and behaviour.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to continuously improveusability, accessibility, and design consistency.
Lead optimisation initiatives includingA/B testing, conversion rate optimisation, and user research.
Drive continuous improvement ofend-to-end customer journeys across all digital touchpoints.
Work closely with marketing teams to ensureseamless integration of campaigns, content, and conversion pathways.
Cross‐Functional Collaboration
Act as thecentral point of coordinationfor platform enhancements acrossMarketing, IT, Product, CX, Compliance, and external partners.
Align with acquisition and retention teams to ensurecohesive digital journeys across channels.
Manage relationships withthird‐party vendors, platforms, and development partnersas required.
Translate technical concepts intoclear business outcomes, and vice versa.




Ensure all platform developments adhere toregulatory, compliance, and security requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation offeatures, releases, technical decisions, and workflows.
Contribute to the development ofproduct roadmaps and long‐term capability planning.
Support audit and risk processes as required.
Leadership & Team Development
Coach and developjunior product resourcesto build capability inrequirements definition, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery.
Foster a culture ofcontinuous improvement, accountability, and collaborationwithin the team.
Provide clear prioritisation, direction, and feedback to ensurehigh‐quality outputs and professional growth.
Act as a role model fordata‐led decision making and customer‐centric thinking.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
5–8 years' related work experience in Digital Product Management / Product Ownership, ideally within financial services or a regulated industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Digital or related field; Agile/Product certifications (e.g. CSPO, Protected) desirable.
Familiar with Agile delivery frameworks, digital customer journeys, B2C and B2B platforms, and partner integrations.
Expert knowledge in digital product lifecycle management, backlog prioritisation, conversion optimisation, and performance analytics.
Compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements relevant to digital and insurance/financial services environments.
Strong soft skills including stakeholder engagement, collaboration, communication, and problem solving; demonstrates customer‐first thinking, accountability, continuous improvement, and data‐led decision making aligned to WeCare values.
