About the role
The Clinical Nurse (Research) will support vital paediatric emergency research by recruiting participants, collecting study data and coordinating clinical trials whilst working alongside leading researchers and contributing to innovative projects that improve outcomes for children and their families.
Key duties of the role




Support the ongoing recruitment of participants for clinical research
Implement and maintain timely, accurate and appropriate verbal and written communication processes
Assist the Principal Investigator and Nurse Consultant Clinical Research Coordinator to maintain a learning culture by being a resource person, encouraging reflection and professional development
Contribute to the provision of cutting-edge and efficient approaches to the Unit's research development and delivery
Provide administrative support in the form of data entry for assigned research functions,
Skills and Experience
Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
Effective communication, problem solving conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
