Expressions of Interest - Personal Care Attendant
At Concierge Balwyn Retirement Living, residents enjoy independence, choice and a strong sense of community. Located close to Melbourne's CBD, the community offers contemporary apartments, lifestyle amenities and 24/7 staff support in a safe, welcoming environment. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high‐quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day‐to‐day tasks.
Your Impact
Work independently within resident units to provide in‐home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g driving them to appointments or light exercise)
Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
Follow all Aveo OH&S; policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents
What you'll bring
Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing
Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
Strong communication skills,



with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
Valid driver's licence + vehicle (required)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID‐19 Vaccinations (required)
