About the Role
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you'll play a key role in delivering expert physiotherapy care within our Acute Medicine multidisciplinary team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
You'll manage a complex clinical caseload, build strong relationships across the service, mentor staff and students, and help shape high-quality,
evidence-based patient care through your specialist expertise and clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver advanced physiotherapy care for patients with complex needs
Manage a specialist Acute Medicine clinical caseload
Provide expert advice to colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
Guide and support junior staff and physiotherapy students
Share specialist knowledge through education and mentoring
Contribute to service improvement and best practice initiatives
Build solid partnerships with medical, nursing and allied health teams
Liaise with referrers and community follow up providers to support seamless patient care
Advise leaders on clinical matters within your area of expertise
Maintain high standards of clinical practice and professional care
About You
You're an experienced Physiotherapist who thrives in a collaborative hospital environment and enjoys making a real difference to patient outcomes.
You bring specialist clinical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to mentoring others while delivering high quality, patient centred care.
Degree in Physiotherapy with AHPRA registration
Senior acute clinical experience and sound judgement
Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
Mentor staff,
support students and drive best practice
Deliver evidence based care with clear communication
