Overview
The City is seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Business Partner to deliver strategic engagement programs that strengthen community participation and support informed decision-making across the organisation. In this role, you will partner with business units to provide expert engagement advice, design fit-for-purpose engagement approaches aligned with the IAP2 framework, and deliver clear, evidence-based insights that support organisational and Council decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing strategic engagement advice to reduce community, political and reputational risk.
Designing and delivering engagement activities aligned with the IAP2 spectrum and principles.
Working collaboratively across the organisation to integrate engagement into projects, programs and service reviews.
Managing engagement budgets and ensuring value for money.
Analysing community feedback and developing reports that inform recommendations and decision-making.
Supporting the continuous improvement of engagement practices across the City.
What We're Looking For
Experience delivering community engagement programs in a complex or public-facing environment.
Strong knowledge and practical application of the IAP2 framework.
The ability to provide sound advice that considers political context, community expectations and organisational priorities.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
Experience analysing engagement outcomes and preparing reports for decision-makers.
Experience in local, state or federal government.
Experience supporting Council or executive decision-making through engagement reporting.
