We are representing a leading national law firm with one of Australia's strongest Commonwealth Government practices.
Due to continued growth, an prospect has arisen for high-performing lawyers to join a highly regarded Administrative Law team.
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative national practice, you'll act for Commonwealth Government agencies on complex and high-profile administrative law matters.
This role offers excellent advocacy opportunities, direct client exposure and the chance to work closely with recognised leaders in the field.
You will be responsible for:
Managing a caseload of merits and judicial review matters before the Administrative Review Tribunal, Federal Circuit and Family Court, Federal Court and High Court.
Advising clients on litigation strategy and prospects.
Preparing evidence, submissions and court documents.




Appearing as a solicitor advocate where appropriate.
Briefing and instructing counsel.
Building strong relationships with government clients while working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers.
About You
To be successful, you will have 2+ years post admission.
experience in either public or administrative law with a litigation focus.
Additionally, you will have:
A genuine interest in advocacy and appearing before courts and tribunals.
Excellent drafting, analytical and advisory skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A desire to further your career within a leading government practice.
