As a Business Security Consultant, you will be the embedded security architecture specialist within the Business Information Security Advisory (BISA) team, providing trusted guidance across programs, projects, and engineering initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary security architecture contact for day-to-day business operationsProvide security architecture guidance across programs, projects, change initiatives, and technology portfoliosSupport business stakeholders with architecture assessments, security reviews, and design recommendationsIdentify opportunities to reuse security patterns and contribute to the standardisation of architecture approachesAttend and contribute to technology governance forums as the security architecture representativeAdvise the BISA Lead on architecture risks, design decisions, security implications, and AI adoption initiativesProvide security architecture guidance on application design, API security, integration patterns, and secure development practicesMonitor emerging security standards, threat intelligence, and regulatory developments to ensure architecture guidance remains currentIdentify, assess, and elevate application security risks arising from business initiativesApply enterprise security architecture standards, reference patterns,



and configuration baselinesConduct first-pass assessments of routine security policy exception requestsEscalate complex or high-risk security exceptions to the Enterprise Security ArchitectMaintain awareness of the business technology landscape and identify areas requiring local interpretation of standardsPrepare architecture assessments and risk summaries for governance and fast-track submissionsRepresent business architecture requirements through Enterprise Security Architecture governance processesProvide architecture input and guidance for AI use cases and secure AI integrationsIdentify and elevate non-human identity requirements arising from integrations and automated workflowsMaintain awareness of evolving AI security architecture patterns and best practicesParticipate in security architecture community forums and peer reviewsContribute to the development and enhancement of enterprise architecture standards and methodologiesCollaborate with Identity & Access Management, Security Operations, Detection & Response, Privacy, and Engineering teams to deliver secure business outcomesEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS7+ years' experience in information security with a strong focus on security architectureDemonstrated experience providing architecture advisory services across business, technology, and engineering environmentsStrong capability in AI security architecture, including secure AI integration, AI API security design, and MLSecOps practicesDeep technical knowledge across network, cloud, identity, and endpoint security domainsExperience in application security, secure SDLC practices, API security, and integration securityAbility to produce transparent architecture assessments, governance submissions,
