About the role

Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of farm machinery and heavy equipment to keep our Bolinda Farm running every day. You will work Monday to Thursday (6:30am–4:40pm) as part of a hands-on maintenance team in a stable, permanent role — no FIFO, no fly-in rosters, just consistent local work in Far North Queensland.

Duties

· Maintain and repair tractors, forklifts, 4-wheelers, and heavy vehicles

· Diagnose and fault-find mechanical issues across farm equipment

· Conduct scheduled and unscheduled servicing to minimise downtime

· Operate and overhaul diesel engines and drivetrain components

· Support safe work practices and complete maintenance records accurately

Skills & experience

· Trade qualification — Certificate III in Engineering (Mobile Plant) or equivalent





· Proven diesel fault-finding and diagnostic experience

· Current Australian driver’s licence

· Experience with farm, agricultural, or heavy plant equipment preferred

· Right to work in Australia
