We're flexible on what this role looks like for the right candidate, with full-time or part-time options available on either a permanent basis or a fixed-term contract. You'll manage complex cases, collaborate with families, schools, allied health teams and community stakeholders, and help shape positive outcomes for children and their families.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting quality paediatric services across Townsville and surrounding communities through regular outreach travel.

- Deliver advanced paediatric Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions

/n

- Support children and families to achieve meaningful goals

/n

- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision to clinicians

/n

- Guide complex cases and promote best practice care

/n

- Contribute to service development, quality improvement and governance

/n

- Provide outreach services across regional and remote communities, travelling by fleet vehicle or small aircraft as required, with travel, accommodation and meals covered by NWRH.

About the Candidate

/n

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

/n

- Bachelor/'s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)

/n

- Paediatric Occupational Therapy experience

/n

- Current Australian C Class Driver/'s Licence and work rights

/n/n

Work Environment

/n

/n

- Salary from $105,893 - $111,161 + super (Pro-rata for part-time) based on experience

/n

- Salary sacrificing options up to $15,900 to help maximise your take home pay;

/n

- 5 weeks annual leave plus leave loading of 17.5%;

/n

- $180 per fortnight Rental Subsidy (Mount Isa and Longreach only);

/n

- Initial staff accommodation available (Mount Isa and Longreach only);

/n

- Up to $3k relocation assistance for Mount Isa plus possible additional payment of up to $3k from Health Workforce Queensland for candidates who relocate and meet the criteria

- Annual Flight Home upon 12 months of service (If based in Mount Isa or Longreach);

- Continuous Professional Development: Up to 10 days of paid professional development leave each financial year, supporting learning aligned with your role and career development.
