About the Role
Health & Safety Consultant. This permanent, seat‑based residential role at the Huntly Mine Site (Dwellingup/Pinjarra region) focuses on supporting the mobile maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Develop risk mitigation plans for hazards such as Confined Space Entry, Hazardous Chemicals, Substances, Electrical, Trenching and Excavation.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policy and legislation.
- Investigate incidents using the ICAM process and establish corrective actions.
- Create and deliver engaging training programmes.
- Lead teams on safety projects and initiatives.
- Advise and support health and safety committees and representatives.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification (desirable) or Diploma in Health and Safety or a related field.
- Strong Health & Safety experience, ideally in a maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of and application to legislative standards to ensure compliance.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with people at all levels.
- Contractor experience desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and various management systems.
