An exciting Analyst opportunity has become available within our busy and dynamic Small Business Bank team. We’re seeking talented professionals with experience in credit analysis, lending fulfilment, or both. Depending on your skills and background, you may be appointed as a Credit Analyst, Fulfilment Analyst, or into a hybrid role that combines responsibilities across both disciplines.

In these roles, you’ll play a key part in supporting Business Bankers and delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients. You’ll assess lending opportunities, prepare credit submissions, conduct financial analysis, coordinate documentation, settlements and funding activities, and manage applications through to completion, thereby supporting sustainable growth for small businesses across Australia.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities, manage risk, and deliver a seamless client experience from application through to settlement.





• Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis.

• Prepare and manage credit submissions.

Qualifications and Skills

- Experience in business banking, commercial lending, lending fulfilment, credit analysis or a related environment
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to quickly understand, assess, and manage complex transactions
- Sound analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capability
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Strong commercial acumen and risk management capability
- Experience reading and interpreting financial statements, profit and loss statements and balance sheets (highly regarded)
- Experience writing and analysing credit transactions and/or supporting lending fulfilment activities (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of commercial lending, credit risk or loan documentation processes (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of business banking systems such as CommSee, CCL and RiskInSite (desirable)
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance and/or Commerce (desirable)
