ALH Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators and Production Workers to join a busy steel manufacturing facility based in Pinkenba. You'll play a key role in producing reinforcing steel products used in major commercial, residential and infrastructure projects across Queensland.

What's In It For You?
- $36-$45/hr + Penalties + Super
- Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:36pm
- Afternoon Shift: 1:30pm - 9:36pm
- Paid Day Shift Training for Your First Two Weeks

Duties
- Operate automated steel processing and manufacturing machinery
- Produce reinforcing mesh, cut and bent reinforcing bar and other reinforcing steel products
- Set up and monitor production equipment
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
- Load and unload steel products and materials
- Follow production schedules and work instructions
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain a safe work area
- Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets
What We're Looking For
- Previous Machine Operator or Production experience
- Experience working in manufacturing, steel processing or heavy industry highly regarded
- Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Safety focused with excellent attention to detail
- Able to complete two weeks of Day Shift training
Desirable Tickets & Licences
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Forklift Licence (LF)
- Overhead Crane experience
- Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment
- Previous steel manufacturing experience
- High Risk Work Licences (advantageous)
