Senior Operational Technology Specialist (EMS / SCADA)

12 Month Contract | Brisbane | Hybrid Working

Troocoo is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation delivering one of Australia's largest Operational Technology transformation programs. We are seeking an experienced Energy Management Systems (EMS) / SCADA Specialist to support the implementation of a next-generation operational technology platform.

Working alongside engineering, operations and project teams, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the stability and performance of existing systems while supporting the testing, configuration and deployment of new capabilities.

Responsibilities

- Support the ongoing operation of EMS and SCADA platforms
- Configure, maintain and troubleshoot critical operational technology systems
- Investigate incidents and resolve technical issues across production and test environments
- Validate system changes, telemetry mappings and database updates
- Support FAT, SAT and transition activities for new technology implementations
- Work collaboratively with engineers, vendors and operational stakeholders




- Ensure high levels of system availability across business-critical infrastructure

You’ll ideally bring experience in one or more of the following:

- Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- SCADA
- Distribution or Network Management Systems (DMS/NMS)
- Operational Technology (OT)
- Power Systems or Electrical Engineering
- Critical infrastructure environments

Experience within electricity transmission, utilities, mining, oil & gas or industrial automation will be highly regarded.

Exposure to any of the following would also be advantageous

- High Voltage Networks
- Control Systems
- Network Modelling
- Energy sector experience or similar
