An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced Technical Director to lead the electrical discipline within a nationally recognised engineering consultancy's rapidly expanding Mission Critical team in Sydney.

This is a genuine leadership role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for mentoring teams, developing client relationships and delivering world-class data centre projects.

As Technical Director, you will play a key role in driving the growth of the Mission Critical business across Australia. Working alongside a highly regarded multidisciplinary team, you will provide technical leadership on complex, high-profile projects while helping to shape strategy, win new work and build long-term client partnerships.

You'll be trusted to influence project outcomes from concept through to delivery, while helping grow both the team and the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the electrical design and technical delivery of major mission critical and data centre projects.
- Provide strategic technical leadership across complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, operators and key industry stakeholders.




- Mentor and develop high-performing engineers across the business.
- Support business development, proposals and major project pursuits.
- Drive innovation, quality and technical excellence throughout project delivery.
- Contribute to the continued growth of the national Mission Critical team.

About You

You will be an accomplished engineering leader with:

- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Excellent client-facing, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience winning work and developing lasting client relationships.
- Chartered status (or equivalent) would be highly regarded.
