About the Opportunity
Are you ready to take the next step in your Public Practice Accounting career?
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant or Manager to join their highly successful Business Services & Tax team based in the Perth CBD.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established accounting and advisory firm with six Partners and more than 40 professionals, providing Business Services, Tax, SMSF, Advisory and Financial Planning services to a diverse portfolio of SME and privately owned businesses.
Whether you're looking to further develop your technical expertise, strengthen your client relationships or progress into leadership, you'll be supported by an experienced management team committed to your long-term career development.
The Chance
Depending on your experience, you will:
- Manage your own portfolio of Business Services & Tax clients
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
- Provide proactive tax and business advisory services
- Build strong relationships with clients across a wide range of industries
- Mentor and support junior accountants
- Liaise directly with Partners on complex client matters
For candidates joining at Manager level, you'll also review the work of up to eight accountants while working alongside an experienced management team.
Clients range from small businesses through to privately owned groups with turnovers of up to $200 million.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Previous experience within an Australian Public Practice Accounting firm
- Minimum three years' Business Services & Tax experience
- Degree qualified
- Ideally CA, CPA or IPA qualified (or close to completion)
- Strong technical taxation and accounting knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional client service
- The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
- You must currently reside in Australia
- Applicants with unrestricted Australian working rights are preferred
