A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Maintenance & Parts Co-ordinator to join our Energy team at UON’s Kalgoorlie Branch.
You will be responsible for:
- Plan, schedule and monitor depot fleet maintenance (~10 vehicles), coordinating planned, preventative and reactive work to minimise downtime.
- Track service due dates, job progress and completion via relevant systems/registers, and maintain accurate maintenance records, schedules and DAMSTRA reporting.
- Record and report safety KPIs and maintenance performance measures, escalating delays, resource constraints or safety risks as needed.
- Liaise with supervisors, maintenance providers, contractors and suppliers to coordinate priorities, resolve scheduling conflicts and apply mechanical understanding to job requirements.
- Identify, source and issue correct parts/materials for jobs, and receive,
check and store incoming goods against orders, flagging damaged or non-conforming items.
- Maintain stock records and inventory levels for critical spares/consumables, supporting purchase orders, replenishment planning and cycle counts/stock takes.
- Liaise with suppliers and the service team on order status, lead times and back-orders affecting job timing.
- Support loading/unloading and internal distribution of goods and materials to and from UON sites and suppliers.
To be successful in this role you must possess the following key requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years industry experience working in a stores/warehouse environment.
- Current Manual WA C Class Drivers Licence.
- HR licence desirable.
- Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF).
- Proven experience with Goods receipt and initial quantity and quality inspection
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- A positive attitude to work and desire to 'get the job done
