This is a fantastic 12-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced AI and automation professional , with potential for extension beyond the initial contract. The role is based in beautiful offices in the heart of Sydney CBD, just a short walk from major train stations.
About the Role
AI and automation are changing the way organisations work - and this is your opportunity to be right in the middle of it.
We're looking for an AI Solution Consultant to play a key role in identifying, shaping and delivering AI and automation opportunities across the organisation.
This is a great opportunity for a Business Analyst, AI Consultant, Solution Consultant or Transformation professional with experience across AI and automation initiatives. You'll be someone who enjoys getting under the hood of a problem, asking the right questions and making sure the solutions being delivered genuinely solve the right business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess AI,
automation and digital transformation opportunities across the organisation.
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand business needs, challenge assumptions and define appropriate solutions.
- Gather, analyse and document clear, actionable business requirements.
- Validate requirements using data, system behaviour and existing platform capabilities.
- Analyse and map current and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Work closely with technology teams throughout solution design and delivery to ensure outcomes remain aligned with business needs.
- Support testing, solution reviews and requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Develop business cases and quantify potential benefits, value and ROI.
- Contribute to AI governance, risk assessment and initiative pipeline reporting.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies and delivery blockers.
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Process Improvement, Digital Transformation or a similar role.
- Proven experience delivering or supporting AI, automation, intelligent automation or digital transformation initiatives .
- Robust requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to validate and challenge business assumptions using data and system evidence.
- Experience working across business and technology teams within complex environments.
- Strong process mapping and analysis capabilities.
- Experience developing business cases and quantifying benefits or ROI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities concurrently.
