Workshop Assistant – 2 Positions (Full Time, Training Provided)

We've been fencing Perth for over 25 years. From our Maddington workshop we supply and install for WA's leading insurer, the state's largest property developer and its biggest strata groups — plus thousands of local homeowners. Business is robust and our workshop is busy, so we're adding two Workshop Assistants to the team.

The role

You'll work alongside our Workshop Supervisor, keeping the yard and workshop running so our installation crews can get out and get the job done. Every day is a bit different:

- Fabricating and assembling gates
- Welding and general steel work — full training provided
- Operating the forklift, loading and unloading
- Local pick-ups and deliveries around Perth metro
- Stock control and keeping the yard organised
- General workshop duties

Hours

Monday to Friday, 5:30am start, 2pm finish. No weekends, no night work.

What you need

- A current manual driver's licence (P plates are fine) — our vehicles are manual, so this one isn't negotiable




- A clean driving record — you'll be driving company vehicles, and we check
- To be physically fit and comfortable on your feet all day
- A positive attitude and the willingness to learn
- The right to work in Australia

What helps but isn't essential

Welding tickets, a forklift licence, a White Card, or an HR licence. If you don't have them, we'll help you get them. We've trained plenty of people from scratch — attitude matters far more to us than experience.
