Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Assistant / Market Research Analyst to support market intelligence, consumer insights, and business strategy through comprehensive research and data analysis. This role focuses on collecting, interpreting, and presenting market data to identify trends, customer behaviors, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities. Key responsibilities include
Conduct primary and secondary market research using a variety of reliable sources.
Collect, organize, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative market data.
Monitor industry trends, customer behavior, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
Design surveys, questionnaires, interviews, and other research methods to gather valuable insights.
Prepare market research reports, presentations, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Analyze customer demographics, purchasing patterns, and market segmentation.
Support product development, marketing strategies, and business planning with data-driven recommendations.
Perform competitor benchmarking and SWOT analysis to evaluate market positioning.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze campaign or market performance.
Maintain research databases, documentation, and reporting systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and business teams to support strategic initiatives.
Identify market risks, business opportunities, and emerging consumer trends.
Present research findings clearly through visualizations, charts, and written reports.
Ensure research methodologies and data collection processes follow quality standards and ethical practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing research processes and analytical techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Strong understanding of market research methodologies, data analysis, and consumer behavior.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis or reporting tools.
Familiarity with survey platforms, statistical software, or business intelligence tools is an advantage.
Solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights in a clear and meaningful way.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
