Hybrid role on the Central Coast.

We are a mature 10 year old Sustainability Building Service company based in the heart of the Central Coast and we have new roles that we are creating in our growing company.

Certified Energy is an industry leading ESD Consultancy based on the Central Coast of NSW. Our team is comprised of experts in the Environmental Sustainable Design field who are focused on delivering sustainable building compliance services. We work with Tier 1 and Tier 2 developers, architects and engineers to reduce the environmental impacts of projects across Australia. As one of the largest Sustainability Consultancy practices we have a diverse team who are fun to work with. What do we do exactly?

Help make the world a better place by reducing carbon emissions through designing more energy efficient and sustainable homes. We also inspect existing homes and offer recommendations for energy efficiency upgrades and improvements.

Our consulting arm does everything ESD: Commercial GreenStar, Section J, JV3 Modelling Consultancy and Residential work such as NatHERS, BASIX and Passive House and Carbon Neutral Design and Reporting. Our portfolio of projects includes landmark commercial developments, high rise residential towers through to luxury architectural homes and smaller home alterations and additions. Our team leaders work closely with our clients providing expert advice with practical value design and engineering recommendations to incorporate into their projects.

How we work?





We work Hybrid 4 days Mon - Thurs in our Ourimbah office and Fridays from home.

Is your best fit?

Entry Level Residential Sustainability Consultant:

Do you have a strong desire to build your career focused on Sustainability and the Built Environment? Industry experience isn't essential but would help.

The person we are looking for may have but is not essential:

- Engineering, Architectural / Drafting or other related experience

- Excellent communication

- An ability to complete work on time

- Project Management experience

Experienced Sustainability Consultant:
(pay adjusted according to experience and network)

Are you considered an expert in your sustainability field? You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members and work on the frontline of the company, liaising and meeting current clients and working with management to deliver projects on time.

The person we are looking for may have:

- Minimum of 3 years experience or qualifications

- Cert IV in NatHERS Assessment or Home Energy Efficiency and Sustainability

- Strong project leadership and commercial awareness

- Ability to form good relationships and repeat business

- Capable of working to a high degree of accuracy

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong time management skills

Other experience which would help in this senior role:

- NatHERS Existing Home Accreditation.

- An existing Client network (highly desirable)

- Greenstar or NABERS Certification.
