My client is seeking a Project Exploration Geologist with 8 plus years Exploration experience, to work on a highly prospective project, the position is campaign based with regular trips to the field in the Pilbara region.

The company will be actively drilling over the next couple of years after successfully doing a capital raise, with a clear focus focus on doubling their current resource.

You will be involved in target generation, drilling programs, field mapping, geological interpretation and project management. The role provides genuine responsibility and the prospect to influence exploration strategy while working alongside experienced exploration professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise RC and diamond drilling programs.
- Geological logging of RC chips and diamond core.
- Conduct geological mapping and structural interpretation.
- Design and supervise geochemical sampling programs.
- Interpret exploration datasets including geology, geochemistry and geophysics.
- Generate and rank exploration targets.
- Manage drilling contractors and field crews.




- Ensure exploration activities are completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high-quality geological databases and QA/QC procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports for management and ASX announcements.
- planning exploration programs.
- Liaise with heritage consultants and regulatory agencies where required.
- Degree in Geology, preferably honours or Post graduate
- Approximately > 8 years' mineral exploration experience.
- Strong understanding of Archean gold systems.
- Experience supervising AC, RC and diamond drilling.
- Competent geological mapping and structural interpretation
- Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS).
- Experience with Leapfrog Geo, micromine or similar 3D modelling software.
- Strong technical writing.
- Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
