About the role

Dhillon Charter is seeking an experienced School Bus Driver, Rail Drivers and Charter Drivers to join our team in Laverton North, VIC . You will play a vital role in providing safe and reliable transportation for students to and from school, Rail replacement work, and Charter work. Weekend work available, along with flexible hours.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate buses safely and efficiently to transport students to and from school according to designated routes and schedules
2. Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all passengers, including providing assistance to students as needed
3. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance requirements
4. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, route details, and any incidents that occur
5. Provide exceptional customer service to students and their families
6. Assist with charter work as needed, transporting passengers to various locations

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 years' experience as Commercial Bus Driver
2. Valid Australian driver's license with a minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) classification - Along with Active DC, WWCC (Employee).

Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
6. Commitment to safety and a clean driving record
7. Working knowledge of public transport regulations and procedures
