Wide Format Print Operator - Vehicle Wraps & Signage

Vinyl Wrapz is an established Perth vehicle wrap and signage business operating from Osborne Park since 2015. We work across commercial fleet, colour change, paint protection film, marine and signage, and we operate at the premium end of the market.

We are seeking an experienced Wide Format Print Operator to take ownership of our print and finishing operations.

The Role

You will run print production end to end - from receiving approved artwork through to a finished, ready-for-installation kit. This is a hands‑on production role in a busy workshop, suited to someone who works accurately at pace and takes responsibility for the quality of what leaves their bench.

Key Responsibilities

Prepress - file checks, setting up cut marks, preparing print-ready files, choosing correct materials, loading and managing jobs in RIP, colour management

Printing machinery - operating eco-solvent and latex roll‑to‑roll printers, UV flatbed, digital cutter, laser cutter and associated equipment. Machine‑specific training will be provided

Finishing and table work - laminating, trimming, weeding, application tape, drilling, double‑sided tape, quality control

Handover - preparing kits and labelling completed jobs for installation, ensuring each pack is complete and correct before it reaches the installer

Basic vehicle application - simple signage work such as mine striping, call signs, spot graphics and decals. Training provided

Off‑site work - occasional site visits to measure up jobs and collect materials, using a company vehicle





Stock - managing media and ink inventory to maintain uninterrupted production

Maintenance - routine printer maintenance and calibration

Housekeeping - maintaining a clean, organised production area

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience operating wide format printers and laminators

Competent across graphics and machinery software - Adobe Illustrator, VersaWorks, Onyx, Graphtec and similar

Strong colour accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple jobs to deadline without compromising quality

Works independently and takes ownership of the production area

Full vehicle wrapping experience is not required for this role, but is highly regarded and will be reflected in your remuneration

A current driver's licence is preferred, as the role includes occasional measure‑ups and pick‑ups in a company vehicle. Not essential

What We Offer

$72,000 - $85,000 + super, based on demonstrated capability

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Overtime paid but not common

Established team, consistent workload, premium materials and equipment

Prospect to develop into installation for the right person
