We have delivered significant architectural metalwork projects in the commercial construction sector to tier 1 & 2 builders and are the largest and most respected balustrade business in WA. For the last 15 years has been one of the largest suppliers of sheet metal fabricated switchboard cabinets to the mining & resources sector.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for an estimator with a committed work ethic to join our team of dedicated professionals. In your role as an Estimator, you will be performing architectural steel and aluminium take-offs and pricing. You will be required to communicate with our clients in a professional manner to assist in acquiring future projects.

Duties:

As estimator, with responsibilities in sales, you will;

- Read and Interpret drawings and specifications.

- Perform comprehensive take-offs.

- Obtain pricing from subtrades and suppliers.

- Prepare requests for information.

- Liaise with our client’s estimators to achieve better outcomes.





- Prepare handover documents and coordinating with our project management teams to provide them with an in depth understanding of the project.

About You

You will possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- The ability to engage effectively with clients and suppliers.

- Experience in estimating, preferably within the steel and Aluminium fabrication industry.

- Experience in drafting using SolidWorks, ArchiCAD or CAD is preferred.

- Proficiency in procurement and effective negotiation with suppliers is preferred.

- Capability to understand engineer's drawings and perform precise steel take-offs.

- Mechanical aptitude.

- Proficiency in pricing projects based on take-offs.

- Robust computer skills, including the MS Office suite.

- Background or knowledge in Balustrading would be highly regarded
