About your role

As a People & Culture Business Partner at Cbus, you’ll report to our people-focused Manager, P&C; Business Partnering, in this newly created 6-month maximum term contract role. You’ll support our Business Partnering team by providing coverage during a period of upcoming leave.

You’ll have demonstrated experience and a deep understanding of IR and ER matters, enabling you to advise the Business Partnering team and wider business. You’ll work closely with our people leaders on organisation design, performance management, leadership and talent development, coaching, and remuneration.

Success in this role depends on your ability to operate at both operational and strategic levels while managing multiple stakeholders. Ideally, you have previous experience as a trusted people partner within a similar financial service, corporate, or skilled services environment. Your experience should cover the employee lifecycle and include exposure to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements,



formal investigations, and managing complex ER issues.

You should have a passion for working with people, with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills. You must be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholder groups and possess strong commercial acumen to balance business needs with our P&C; frameworks. Operating with high emotional intelligence, collaboration, supporting change, and problem-solving skills are essential.
