Chipmunks by the Sea Early Learning is seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a 6-month maternity leave contract, with the opportunity for extension.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development through play-based experiences and strong relationships.

This is a part-time position with a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours and extension beyond the initial contract period.

About You:

You will:

- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Have experience working within an early childhood setting
- Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Build respectful and meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team

Essential Requirements:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications
- Knowledge of child safety and compliance requirements
