Specific Skills

- Minimum 6 months of professional experience in Cleaning industry.
- Understanding of the proper use and safety concerns of cleaning chemicals and implements.
- Must have valid Manual Handling Certificates or be willing to obtain one.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
- Up to date vaccination as per Australian Government Regulations, including but not limited to Influenza and COVID19.
- Must hold Australian Driving Licence.

Responsible For

- General Cleaning: This includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, and windows.
- Sanitizing: Especially in areas like bathrooms and kitchens, sanitizing to prevent the spread of germs is a key task,



involving cleaning fixtures, mirrors, and walls.
- Trash Disposal: Emptying waste bins and ensuring trash is properly segregated and disposed of, according to recycling and waste management guidelines.
- Restocking Supplies: Ensuring that consumables, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and hand towels, are adequately stocked.
- Floor Care: Depending on the type of flooring, this could involve polishing, sealing, or applying specific treatments like waxing.
- Safety Practices: Following health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and injury. This includes the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
