Australia

REMOTE SPEECH PATHOLOGIST | PIONEERS TUTORING & SPEECH

Australia-wide | Remote | Contractor (ABN) | 10-15+ hrs/week | Possibility for full time work

We're Pioneers Tutoring & Speech, and we're done with "fix-it" therapy. Kids with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other language differences don't need to be fixed - they need someone who shows up genuinely thrilled to work with them.

About the Role

Go past articulation. Structured literacy, phonemic awareness, phonics, and the oral-language-to-reading pipeline - this is where you'll do your deepest work. You'll have real input into how sessions run, no rigid, word-for-word scripts, just your clinical judgement and your personality. Alongside your speech pathology caseload, you'll also have the prospect to deliver our developmental therapy sessions, supporting kids' literacy, language, and social/communication skills in a broader capacity-building capacity.

What You'll Do

- Deliver speech pathology sessions focused on structured literacy, phonemic awareness, phonics, and the oral-language-to-reading pipeline
- Bring your own clinical judgement and personality to sessions - this isn't a rigid, script-led role
- Deliver developmental therapy sessions alongside your speech caseload, when you choose to
- Watch kids rewrite their own story - not "become better communicators" in the abstract, but actually get there, session by session
- Work with a high-value caseload of engaged families who prioritise intervention - no chasing, no convincing

What You Bring

- SPA membership (or eligibility)

- 1–2+ years paediatric experience (early-career with genuine fire? We want you.)
- Warmth and energy that's real, not performed
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to get one) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

The Deal

- Contractor role with competitive pay
- 100% remote - work from wherever you do your best work
- Variety in your week - a mix of speech pathology and developmental therapy sessions, so no two days look the same

Availability

- Weekday afternoons: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Minimum: 10-15 hours/week approx

If your availability doesn't line up exactly with the above, we still encourage you to apply - we'd love to chat and see what might work.

Apply now with your resume and a short cover letter telling us a bit about you.
