We are a friendly family dental practice in Surrey Hills seeking a reliable Casual Dental Assistant to join our team.

This role would suit a local university student, someone returning to the workforce, or anyone looking for a long-term casual position in a supportive healthcare environment.

Previous dental assisting experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right applicant.

The role includes:

- Assisting the dentist during patient treatment
- Preparing and sterilising instruments
- Setting up and maintaining treatment rooms
- Providing excellent patient care
- Supporting general reception and administrative duties when required

Required availability:

- Thursdays: approximately 8:45 am – 6:00/7:00 pm depending on patient appointments
- Fridays: shorter day, finishing earlier

The successful applicant should be generally available on Thursdays and Fridays. As this is a casual position, working hours will vary depending on patient appointments and practice requirements. Thursday shifts may occasionally finish around 6:00–7:00 pm.
