Registered Nurse | Residential Aged Care

Contract: Permanent | 72 hours per fortnight + the opportunity to pick up more hours/shifts as per availability
Pay: $57.85 per hour + penalties + superannuation + not-for-profit salary packaging
Shifts: Mornings | Afternoons | Overnights - available 7 days a week Sunday to Saturday

About the role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership across the home, support care teams, and help ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with aged care legislation and quality standards.





Key responsibilities include:

- Providing clinical leadership and oversight to care teams
- Supervising Enrolled Nurses, Team Leaders, and Care Service Employees
- Supporting best practice in line with aged care legislation and quality standards
- Promoting clinical excellence and contributing to continuous improvement
- Supporting a respectful, resident-focused, and team-based care environment

About you

You are a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical judgement, professionalism, and a cooperative approach to care.

To be successful, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least 12 months’ experience in residential aged care
- Sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
- Flexibility to work across a full rotating roster
- Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a registered and insured vehicle

Eligibility:

- Applicants must be currently residing in Australia with full working rights, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Applicants must also be willing to undertake a Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997.
