Job Summary
This is a great chance for qualified Lifeguards who value water safety and love working with people to provide leadership and coaching to our team.
Role
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguards to join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for day‑to‑day pool operations within our facility and ensure that all areas, both in and surrounding the pools, are safe and enjoyable for all patrons.
Responsibilities
Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the pool area
Supervise and assist patrons to ensure water safety
Respond to emergencies and apply First Aid as required
Communicate effectively with a diverse range of students, ages, abilities, cultures and needs
Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays and peak season periods
Support team members and contribute to a cooperative work workplace
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent verbal communication skills
Understanding of OHS and public safety applications within the facility
Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificates
National Police Check
Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
Working with Vulnerable People certification
Previous experience in a comparable role is highly regarded (not essential)
