About the Role Health and Safety Consultant for our WA Mining H&S; team based at Huntly Mine Site. Permanent, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, residential role.

Responsibilities - Develop risk mitigation plans for high-risk activities including confined space entry, hazardous chemicals, electrical, trenching and excavation.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policy and legislation.
Investigate incidents using the ICAM process, establishing corrective actions with engineering and overall controls.
Create and deliver training programmes to drive positive safety improvements.
Lead safety projects and initiatives within the mobile maintenance department.
Advise and support health & safety committees and representatives in Mobile Maintenance.

Qualifications - Tertiary qualification (desirable) or Diploma in Health and Safety or related subject area.
Solid health & safety experience, ideally in a maintenance workplace.




Knowledge and application of legislative standards to ensure compliance with H&S; requirements.
Solid communication skills, confidence to engage at all levels, leading by example and initiative.
Contractor experience desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and incident management systems.
