Food & Beverage Crew Member

Join the team behind one of the Blue Mountains' most unique visitor experiences. Every day, guests from across Australia and around the world visit the Zig Zag Railway to experience the magic of travelling on a historic railway through spectacular mountain scenery. As a Food & Beverage Crew Member, you'll help make their visit even more memorable by providing friendly service and quality food and beverages in our busy café.

Whether you're making great coffee, serving customers or helping with group catering, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience.

This is a hands-on hospitality role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a quick-paced setting and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

In this role you will:
Welcome guests with friendly, professional customer service.
Prepare and serve a range of food and beverages.
Make espresso coffee and other café drinks.
Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions.
Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation.
Assist with stock replenishment and daily café operations.
Support catering for tour groups,



events and special functions.
Work closely with your teammates to ensure smooth daily operations.

Essential Requirements
Food Safety Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain before commencement
Availability to work weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Robust communication and customer service skills.

Desirable
Previous café, hospitality or food service experience.
Barista experience.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
