RD & PC Down Pty Ltd is a small family-owned business that has proudly provided a dedicated school bus service for local families for many years. We are looking for a reliable and friendly casual driver to join our team.

This position would suit someone looking for regular school-term work, such as a semi-retired driver, truck driver, farmer, or anyone wanting to supplement their income while making a positive difference in the local community.

About the role
Morning run: Approximately 7:00 am – 8:30 am
Afternoon run: Approximately 3:20 pm – 5:00 pm
School terms only
Casual position with regular work available
Additional work may be available to cover leave

Our Mount Richmond service transports students safely between the Mount Richmond district and Portland each school day. As we operate a single bus service, you'll work independently while being well supported by our family business.

Friendly, patient and enjoys working with young people
Reliable and punctual




Safety-focused with a skilled attitude
Able to work independently
A confident and courteous driver

Essential requirements
Current MR Licence (or higher)
Driver Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass a commercial driver medical if required
Good driving record
