Primary Objectives
Pre-deliver new equipment and strip, assess, report on and repair equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions in a timely manner to support the Sales and Service activities of the branch.
Carry out hydraulic installation of attachments onto mobile earthmoving equipment, accurately diagnosing hydraulic flows and pressures during installation to ensure the attachment works efficiency and correctly at all times.
Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, and Experience
Essential:
Excellent communication and time management skills
Safety focus
Motivated & qualified outlook
Competent in use of hydraulic flow testing equipment, hand tools and hold a relevant trade qualification
Ability to work with minimal supervision, but have a valuable team approach
Attention to detail
High risk work licences (Dogging and Fork Lift)
Drivers Licence- Minimum C or equivalent class, LR,MR,HC or MC or equivalent class(es) preferred
Desirable:
Experience in heavy duty mechanical, service or maintenance workshop settings
Experience working on site/offshore, preferably on remote mine sites
Intermediate computer literacy.
Working at Heights & confined space training
Overhead crane/safe slinging
HRW – Rigging HRW- Non Slewing Mobile Crane
HRW- Boom Type Elevated Work Platform
HRW- Bridge & Gantry Crane
