About the Role:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our friendly and experienced team at Across multiple group store locations throughout Queensland. As a trusted name in Queensland’s automotive parts industry, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality products and outstanding service to both trade and retail customers.

This role is ideal for someone with a robust understanding of automotive components, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers find the right parts for their vehicles. You’ll work with a wide range of well-known brands, including Bendix, Brembo, Ryco, NGK, Penrite, and Nulon.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and supply accurate automotive parts and accessories based on customer needs
Provide expert advice and technical support to retail and trade customers
Respond to phone, in-person, and email enquiries in a timely and skilled manner
Use electronic catalogues and parts systems to locate and confirm correct components
Process sales, prepare quotes, and follow up on customer orders




Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and stay informed on promotions and industry trends
Assist with stock management, including receipting, labelling, and inventory control
Merchandise displays and ensure a clean, organised workspace

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar automotive parts sales role
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and servicing requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using electronic parts catalogues
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Interest in the automotive industry is essential

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
