Acorn Rentals provides replacement vehicles to people involved in motor vehicle accidents and in most cases we are reimbursed by the insurance companies. From our Head Office in Macquarie Park NSW we assist in litigating and recovering costs on demurrage claims from insurers for branches in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be a part of a young qualified team who are responsible for litigating and recovering demurrage claims.



Reporting directly to the National Recoveries Manager the role will offer a chance to develop a wide range of quality legal services and debt recovery skills within the motor claim insurance industry with ongoing support and training.

We are looking for someone who:
has Legal Assistant experience
Sound knowledge of Microsoft office
Excellent communication skills
Has exceptional time management skills and is organised
Shows the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Insurance experience is beneficial

Your Duties will include:
Answer phone calls
Communicate with clients
Organizing and managing calendar appointments
Negotiate with Insurance Companies and individuals
Recovering costs from Insurance companies as well as individuals
Liaise with solicitor’s nation wide
Drafting letters to clients, solicitors and insurance companies
Assist in litigating Australian wide
File legal documents Australian Wide
Research and compile evidence for court
