Hotel Rottnest, located on the premiere tourist destination Rottnest Island, has earnt its spot in WA's Best 25 Pubs - overlooking breathtaking views of Thomson Bay. With endless summer fun, annual events that sees crowds of visitors make themselves at home at the pub for their afternoon entertainment - Hotel Rottnest is the destination venue for those exploring the island.

We are currently seeking passionate and motivated Breakfast Cooks and Chefs at all levels to join our agile Hotel Rottnest venue kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a quick-paced, professional environment where quality, teamwork, and creativity are valued.

About the Role Depending on your experience and level, your responsibilities may include:
Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to brand and menu standards
Supporting daily kitchen operations, including service and preparation
Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with HACCP standards
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
Contributing to menu development and continuous improvement
Leading, training, and mentoring junior kitchen team members (senior roles)




Working collaboratively with front-of-house and management teams

About You We welcome applications from chefs at all stages of their career. Ideally, you will have:
Relevant chef experience in a commercial kitchen (level dependent)
A genuine passion for food and hospitality
Strong teamwork and communication skills
The ability to work under pressure in a busy service workplace
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Culinary qualifications (preferred but not essential for all roles)

Pay: $33.85 – $47.39 per hour
