Venue Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy pub.

As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for driving exceptional guest experiences, managing venue performance, and creating a positive and engaging setting for both our team and customers. You will bring strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for hospitality to ensure the continued success and growth of the venue.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the venue team to deliver outstanding service and hospitality
Oversee daily operations across food, beverage, and functions
Maintain high standards of customer service, venue presentation, and compliance
Manage rostering, labour costs, stock control, and operational budgets
Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and local community engagement
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing hospitality team
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, health and safety, and company policies

About You:




Previous experience in a Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager, or senior hospitality leadership role
Robust understanding of pub operations and hospitality management
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Commercially focused with experience managing budgets and KPIs
Passionate about delivering memorable customer experiences
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
