We are looking for a Supply & Distribution Manager specialising in frozen goods to join our dynamic team.

Duties

· Managing stock rotation within the freezer

· Checking orders for distribution and ensuring correct stock has been picked

· Manage a team of freezer store men, implement and monitor KPI's

· Perform staff training

· Maintain communication within the organisation and with customers regarding frozen goods – unavailable stock, recent products, price changes

· Communicate with customers regarding availability, pricing, new products, specials and handle complaints

· Ordering goods from suppliers

· Building & maintaining relationships with suppliers

· Negotiating with suppliers in regards to price

· Ensure record-keeping is maintained with regards to recording purchase orders, storage location and outbound invoices

· Achieve growth and sales targets for frozen products

· Manage quarterly stock takes

· Manage dispatch and retrieval of stock to and from our external frozen store.

· Review & update current freezer warehouse systems





· Review and implement updated stock control systems

· Learn organisation software and track movement of goods to ensure stock is maintained at optimal levels

· Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy and within QA standards

Availability

· Monday to Saturday

· Day/Night Shift, alternating

Successful candidates must possess the following:

· LF licence - experience driving at an advanced level

· Experience working with high range order picker

· An Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in logistics/supply/distribution.

· Reliable and punctual

· Able to work in a cold storage setting

· The ability to work under pressure in a high volume, rapid paced workplace

· Take pride in thoroughness and accuracy of work

· Excellent communication skills

· Previous experience with frozen seafood and the wholesale/hospitality market is required

Pay: $79,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year
