The role

Koala Kindy, a leading early childhood education provider, is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our service located in Helensvale. In this casual role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the minds of our youngest learners and supporting their growth and development.

What you'll be doing
Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
Creating a nurturing, secure and inclusive environment where children can thrive
Observing and documenting children's progress to inform curriculum development
Building robust relationships with families and providing regular feedback on their child's development
Collaborating with the wider education team to ensure consistency in approach
Maintaining compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
Demonstrated experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, preferably in a long day care or preschool setting
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families and colleagues




Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting the wellbeing and development of young children
Registration with the Queensland College of Teachers or ability to obtain registration
Willingness to take on roles and responsibilities of a 'Responsible Person'
Sound knowledge and understanding of NQS, EYLF and Child Safety Laws
Valid 'Blue Card'
