The role isPart Timewith a permanent roster of:
Monday:6:30 am - 1:30 pm (30-minute meal break)
Tuesday & Wednesday:6:30 am - 11:30 am
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
The cleaning role provides operations support within a poultry processing facility and is responsible for maintaining a safe, hygienic production environment.
The role focuses on:
Managing water pooling across production floors and corridors to prevent safety risks
Hygienic cleaning of pallet movers used in production operations
The position directly supportsfood safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO **** quality objectives and BRCGS complianceby ensuring cleaning activities are controlled,
effective, documented and verified.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Water Pooling Control:
Remove excess water from production floors and corridors following cleaning activities
Manually squeegee water into designated floor drains
Operate approved walk-behind floor scrubbers in designated areas
Maintain floors in a clean, dry and slip‐free condition
Demonstrated experience operating walk behind scrubbers is essential for this position
Follow approved cleaning schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
Properly dispose of waste and chemical containers, in compliance with facility policies.
Pallet Mover Cleaning:
Hand clean pallet movers using approved chemicals and methods
Prevent moisture ingress into electrical and sensitive components
Inspect pallet movers for cleanliness, damage or defects
Release pallet movers for use only once hygiene standards are met
To be considered for this role you will have the following:
Must have a current Australian driver's license
Own transport
Valid work rights in Australia
Able to start immediately
Willing to undertake a medical screening (company organised)
Willing to consent to a National Police Check (company organised)
Industrial or manufacturing commercial cleaning experience
