ARCway Careers is seeking motivated individuals to join our clients in Aged Care & Community Services. This role is designed for candidates who are interested in entering the care sector but may lack experience or a clear understanding of what the work involves. This prospect provides structured training, industry exposure and on the job training to support the successful applicant to build a long-term career in the space.
About the opportunity:
As a Trainee, you will:
Complete industry training to gain foundational knowledge of the aged care and community services sector
Gain hands‐on exposure by working alongside industry professionals, learning what the role involves day‐to‐day
Participate in work experience placements at
Fairfield
and surrounding areas may be required
As part of the pre‐traineeship, completed prior to commencing a full qualification, participants will undertake selected units of competency,



including:
CHCCCS041 – Recognise healthy body systems
CHCCOM005 – Communicate and work in health or community services
HLTWHS002 – Follow safe work practices for direct client care
About You
We are looking for candidates who:
Are genuinely interested in working in aged care or community services
Have a caring, reliable and respectful attitude
Are willing to learn and commit to training and placement
Have good communication skills
Are Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents
No previous experience is required — full support and guidance are provided.
