My Guardian is looking for compassionate and reliable Casual Home Care Carers to support clients in their own homes. You will deliver practical, person-centred care that supports independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
You will work with a range of clients, including people recovering from illness or injury and those needing help with everyday tasks. This role suits someone who enjoys working independently while building trusted relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
Your day to day work may include:
Providing personal care such as showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support
Assisting with mobility, transfers, and protected manual handling techniques
Preparing meals, supporting with feeding (if required), and encouraging healthy routines
Completing light domestic duties including tidying, laundry, and other basic household tasks to maintain a safe environment
Offering transport for medical appointments, shopping, errands, and social outings
Providing companionship, emotional support,



and meaningful social interaction
Following individualised care plans and reporting any changes in client needs or wellbeing
Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to all My Guardian policies and quality standards
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking carers who bring both skill and heart to the role. Ideal candidates will have:
Previous experience in home care, personal care, disability support, or community services (highly regarded)
A caring nature, patience, and the ability to provide support with dignity and respect
Knowledge of safe manual handling, infection control, and client safety practices
Strong communication skills and the ability to develop rapport with clients and families
Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a client's home
Flexibility to accept casual shifts based on client needs
Driver's licence and reliable transport (or willingness to obtain)
Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent
